The Clinical Systems/Billing Analyst is the key onsite resource for implementation and support of clinical applications by leading and facilitating the organization's core clinical/billing systems through clinical/billing IS activities, providing second level support as a broad clinical/billing subject matter expert to resolve incidents or fulfill requests, and leading the testing and implementation of enhancements and new module/application testing for clinical/billing environments service ensuring federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations are followed within the IS environment, including HIPAA, Medicare regulations, and all related audits.

Qualifications

Education

  • Current unencumbered license for the state of Ohio to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) required; or
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.

Experience

  • Five years experience in clinical systems operations analysis, planning, budgeting, and documentation required.
  • Experience in direct end user interactions and support for diverse customer groups required.
  • Experience in project management required.
  • Experience in a long-term care, home health, hospice, or hospital setting preferred.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and the internet required.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably MatrixCare, Homecare Homebase and/or AllScripts, required.
