MDS Coordinator / RN (full-time)
Friendship Village of Columbus is seeking a full-time MDS Nurse to add to our exceptional team and community. Duties include completion of the MDS, CAA’S and Plan of Care, staying current with all state and federal regulations that pertain to the MDS, CAA’S and Plan of Care, assuring that MDSs are completed within CMS and Medicare guidelines; Coordinating and completing the MDS, resident care plans, and conferences on the computerized system; Assuring accuracy and completeness of entire medical record; Ensuring MDS electronic submission occurs per State regulations; Participating in family/resident care plan conferences; Writing episodic problems on care plans and updating care plans per regulations; Assuring effective communication with other shifts and departments as it relates to medical record documentation.
Qualified candidates must be a Registered Nurse currently registered in the State of Ohio with at least 6 months nursing experience, and geriatric experience with solid experience with MDS completion.
