Director of Development
The Christian Benevolent Association Foundation, Inc. seeks a Director of Development to build our endowment and increase our gift income results.
CBAF is a subsidiary of Christian Village Communities, which owns and operates Life Plan Communities (senior living/retirement and healthcare) for older adults in all lifestages.
The successful candidate will be an experienced, seasoned fundraiser who is able to demonstrate proven success in fundraising, especially in the area of planned giving fundraising. He/she must be articulate, well organized, and have excellent written communication skills. This position will also manage our annual fund activities, and will assist the CEO with major gift development.
Reporting to the CEO, this position will be a key part of our strategy for enhancing the structure and organization of the CBAF. Support staff and donor management software are in place to help ensure the success of the Director of Development.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred
- CFRE certification preferred
- 10 years’ experience in a nonprofit organization
