Chapel Hill Community is seeking a Director of Nursing for our faith based, nonprofit organization owned by United Church Homes, Inc. KEY JOB DUTIES:
- Achieve company and community clinical indicators/goals.
- Achieve community goals for annual state survey and inspections; ensure nursing programs are provided for the community.
- Responsible for ensuring excellent resident care through maintaining contact with clients while coordinating and supervising services with Interdisciplinary Team.
- Effectively manage nursing hours/PPD.
- Ensures that all nursing documentation is timely, accurate, and complete.
- Timely and effectively integrate all identified company, regional initiatives or best practices into operations.
- Must be comfortable assigning duties and delegating responsibilities to nursing personnel. Responsible for evaluating performance, encouraging staff development and professional growth, assurance of adequate 24-hour coverage in the community daily, supervision and direction of Licensed Personnel to improving nursing services.
- Must maintain an ongoing quality assurance program.
- Must be a team oriented leader interested in empowerment and positive staff interactions.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience as a Director of Nursing and/or nursing leadership role.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
- Current, unencumbered, active RN license in Ohio.
- Must meet pre-employment requirements of United Church Homes, Inc. and all other federal and state requirements.
