ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW
Samaritan Alliance, LLC is a group purchasing organization (GPO) based in Indiana. It includes 11 partner
organizations representing 21 senior communities. There are an additional 66 Associate Member (non-partner)
communities that utilize the Alliance for GPO services.

SUMMARY OF OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Board of Managers the President and CEO will provide executive leadership and direction for
all business activities necessary to maintain and grow the Alliance. Duties include but are not limited to budget
development & preparation, financial statement preparation, database management, tax and audit preparation,
vendor contract negotiations, payroll processing, educational events, member satisfaction survey processes, task
force development and oversight, and complete various other functions as needed. This is an outstanding
leadership opportunity to envision and implement the future direction of aging services GPO in the region and
to continue to build upon the organization’s outstanding reputation for providing exceptional value for our
members in retirement services.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The President and CEO will be a team player with strong interpersonal communication skills & an
entrepreneurial spirit, be sympathetic & enthusiastically support the organization’s purpose, mission, vision,
and values, Bachelor’s degree in Health Care, Business, or other related field, Master’s preferred, previous
experience working with group purchasing for retirement services preferred, familiarity with aging and longterm
care issues, organization skills & understanding group purchasing, strong written & verbal communication
skills, flexible, adaptable, & possess good judgement and sensitivity to individual & organizational concerns,
and the ability to relocate to Indiana.
