PNM roll-out plagued with outages, problems

On October 1, Ohio providers were to begin using the Provider Network Module for a myriad of administrative functions, including submitting new enrollment applications, verifying member eligibility, and submitting fee for service claims and authorizations.

LeadingAge Ohio has received multiple reports from members indicating that they are unable to check eligibility or remittance advices, and neither can they review prior authorizations or claims. Additionally, despite having a designated administrator, many providers cannot get permissions to access the Provider Network Module. Finally, providers that reach out to the Maximus call center have experienced hours-long wait times.

LeadingAge Ohio has been in contact with the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) regarding the widespread problems and has requested details regarding the extent of issues and a timeframe for resolution. In the meantime, billers and accounts receivables professionals are encouraged to reach out to Anne Shelley at ashelley@leadingageohio.org, who is compiling a complete list of provider concerns for elevation to ODM.
