A hospice pharmacist will discuss patient selection and dosing of methadone for the management of pain in hospice patients. The presentation will emphasize patient assessment, monitoring and safe use of methadone. A patient case will be used to practice assessment and dosing calculations throughout the presentation.

Attending the entire session and submitting an evaluation form. Upon submittal of the proper forms, programs offer 1 contact hour credit for nursing valid nationally, except in Iowa. Once registered, you will receive an email confirmation which includes a link to the webcast. The handout will be available on screen during the seminar and will indicate credit available for each title.
