CMS has implemented regulatory changes focused on reducing the unnecessary use of antipsychotic medication and improving in the quality of behavioral healthcare for residents. Attend this session to learn how to maintain compliance with the Requirements of Participation. This session will review the person-centered dementia care national action plan which uses a multidimensional approach including public reporting, raising public awareness, regulatory oversight, and technical assistance/training and research.

Attending the entire session and submitting an evaluation form. Upon submittal of the proper forms, programs offer 1 contact hour credit for nursing valid nationally, except in Iowa. Once registered, you will receive an email confirmation which includes a link to the webcast. The handout will be available on screen during the seminar and will indicate credit available for each title.
