Chief Executive Officer
Westminster Communities of Florida ("Westminster"), based in Orlando, Florida, seeks a dynamic, inspirational, accomplished, mission-driven executive to serve as its next Chief Executive Officer ("CEO"). This is an unparalleled opportunity to lead one of the largest, well-respected, faith-based senior living organizations in the country. Westminster is the fifteenth largest multisite provider in the country as ranked by LeadingAge Ziegler 200 and Florida's largest faith-based, not-for-profit senior living organization. Founded in 1954 as a ministry of the Presbyterian Church (USA), Westminster has grown in its sixty-five year history to include twenty-two communities throughout the state, including ten Life Plan retirement communities and twelve Affordable Rental Retirement Communities.
The next Chief Executive Officer will succeed Roger Stevens, who is planning to retire in early 2020. The Board seeks candidates who will continue the mission-driven, faith-based heritage of Westminster and who will support the values of Westminster by advancing a family-oriented, team-based culture focused on achieving excellence in the fulfillment and expansion of its mission and vision.
In collaboration with the Board and Senior Leadership Team, the CEO will lead the development, communication and implementation of an innovative, forward-thinking growth strategy to respond to dynamic industry trends, such as consolidation and the changing demographics and expectations of current and future residents. The successful candidate will serve as a strong steward of organizational resources and invest in community master planning and redevelopment to position Westminster to remain an industry leader.
