Qualifications:
Must be authentic, passionate and inspiring; must have a minimum of 5 years of successful experience in a supervisory capacity in a long-term care organization; must currently possess or be able to acquire a Nursing Home Administrator’s license from the State of Arizona within 30 days from hire.

Overview:
The primary purpose is to direct day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the Long-Term Care Facility and assure that the highest degree of quality care is provided to the residents of our facility at all times.

Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct all the facilities programs and activities except for the maintenance department. Develop and maintain written policies and procedures that govern the operation of the nursing facility. Develop and maintain written job descriptions and performance evaluations for each staff position. Assist department supervisors in the development and use of policies and procedures. Assist in recruitment and selection process of competent department supervisors, consultants and other ancillary personnel. Assure adequate number of appropriately trained Professionals and ancillary personnel are on duty to meet the needs of the residents. Serve as liaison to the Executive Director, medical staff and other Professionals and supervisory staff. Terminate employees when necessary. Be familiar with laws, regulations and guidelines governing personnel administration.
