Bayley is a non-profit retirement and wellness community founded in 1990 by the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati. It is located in Cincinnati, Ohio, in Delhi Township, on 23 beautiful acres. Bayley has turned the quiet pastures into a lively and active senior community. Their rich history with the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati is a blessing that influences all they do and have accomplished. Bayley offers progressive services for adults through Bayley Services, a collection of programs that enable older adults to live at home, as well as Bayley Living which provides varied residential options for older adults of all faiths. Bayley Living offers independent and assisted living housing, memory, nursing, and pastoral care, as well as inpatient rehabilitation. Bayley has assisted over 1,700 families since their opening in 1990 and they look to continue to grow in their service for their community so that the Bayley ministry may be sustained for future generations.

Reporting to the President/CEO, the VP of Finance is responsible for key duties including accounting and financial reporting, cash management, and financial analysis and management of debt and investments. Highlights A/R past due accounts to senior management for further action. Also responsible for capital budget control, insurance coverage and coordination, payroll-based journal and other required payroll reporting. Responsible for supervising Business Office, Revenue Cycle, Accounting, and Purchasing.

The successful candidate for this position will report to work ready and equipped to conduct business in a professional, courteous, and effective manner. (S)he will lead by example by maintaining a daily office presence and is personally accessible during normal business hours. Strong computer literacy including proficiencies in windows-based spreadsheet, database, and word processing applications. Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial reporting techniques and requirements strongly preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and at least five years’ experience in payroll, accounts payable, cash receipts and billing functions, financial reporting, and controllership type responsibility is required and a minimum of three years in a supervisory capacity. MBA and CPA preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial reporting techniques and requirements are strongly preferred, as well as thorough knowledge of GAAP as evidenced by current CPA license, maintained by participating in CPA continuing professional education programs. In addition, (s)he will have high ethical standards and present an appropriate professional image.
