Life Enriching Communities Expands Services Through Affiliation

Loveland, Ohio –Senior living and services organization Life Enriching Communities (LEC) expects to affiliate with Westlake, OH based Lutheran Home at Concord Reserve (LHCR) by the 2^nd Quarter of 2020, upon completion of certain conditions.

LEC and Concord Reserve have for several months been in discussions regarding an affiliation and previously entered into a Consulting Agreement pursuant to which LEC has provided financial support to LHCR while it further explored the possibility of affiliation. Both boards and the 32 Lutheran Congregations which are members of LHCR have approved the arrangement in which LHCR becomes an affiliate of LEC reporting up through its organizational structure.

LHCR has an 88 year history of providing assisted living, memory care and nursing care services in the city of Westlake. In addition, 80 independent living apartments are being added to the campus with expected occupancy beginning in the second quarter of 2020.

One hundred-twenty year old Life Enriching Communities serves over 1800 people in the greater Cincinnati area through the Twin Towers (Cincinnati)and Twin Lakes (Montgomery) senior living communities – offering accommodations for independent lifestyle, assisted living memory care services, rehabilitative therapies and nursing care, the Life Enriching Communities Foundation and Confident Living, a continuing care at home program. The organization employs 550 individuals.
