EIDC Bulletin Board Notification -
Significant Precipitation Midweek
Bulletin Title:
Significant Precipitation Midweek
Bulletin Details:
Good morning,
Severe weather being forecasted could result in massive power outages across the state this week. Facilities need to be prepared to activate their severe weather plans, including testing their generators, ensuring they have fuel, water, and updated emergency contacts. Additionally, severe weather (snow, ice, heavy rain) could also make for challenging travel conditions that could impact services and appointments.
There are still uncertainties regarding the system for midweek, w/ adjustments to the favored axes for heavy snow, mixed wintry precipitation (including ice), and rain still likely to occur in the coming days. The impacts will vary wildly from one part of the area to another.
Wed - Friday Forecasts:
Toledo – 12-18 inches of snow
Lima – 6-10 inches of snow
Cleveland – 6-10 inches of snow
Canton – 2-4 inches of snow
Columbus – 4-8 inches of snow
Dayton – 3-6 inches of snow
