HUD Announces New GRRP Awards

On February 22, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced $73.5 million in new loans and grants under the Green and Resilient Retrofit Program (GRRP) to HUD-assisted multifamily communities to support extensive energy efficiency and climate resilience renovations. One of the 10 awards, and the only award of this round to a Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly community, is owned by National Church Residences. HUD has announced $368 million in GRRP awards thus far.
