In light of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic, the protocols/guidelines/recommendations from national, state and local authorities, and our concern for our members and partners, LeadingAge Ohio has decided to postpone this event.
We plan to reschedule this event in the near future, and additional correspondence will come from me in the coming weeks.
We wanted to make you aware of this postponement as soon as possible and we certainly appreciate your understanding of this decision. LeadingAge Ohio will keep you posted as new plans unfold, and it is our sincere hope that you will be able to participate when the event is rescheduled.
Join LeadingAge Ohio as we discuss practical ways to connect with residents at various ability levels living with dementia. Ideas for realistic ways to offer parallel programs and engage staff through interactive discussion, sensitivity exercises and media clips will be presented as we explore a new way of looking at life enrichment for memory care.
Participants will also learn about Mindful Art, a therapeutic program designed specifically to provide participants with the health benefits of mindfulness practice while stimulating creativity. Regulatory updates and best practices will also be discussed.

Substitution and Cancellation Policy: Substitutions, in writing, are welcome at no additional cost. Cancellations received by two calendar weeks prior to event date will be fully refunded. Cancellations received between 7 and 13 days prior to the event date will be refunded minus a $10 processing fee. No refunds will be issued 6 or fewer days prior to the event date.
Continuing Education Information
5.75 clock hours will be awarded following successful completion.
Criteria for successful completion: Attendance at entire event.
