CMS announced changes to Phase 1 and 2, delay of Phase 3 RoP’s and other guidance in the Federal Register release on July 18. Janet Feldkamp and Stephanie DeWees will discuss the updated State Operations Manual (SOM) Appendix PP, what you need to know about the survey process, and the citation trends since the new survey process began.

CMS also released the technical guide for the nursing home compare, regulatory oversight on staffing and antipsychotic use, and SOM Appendix Q & Z updates. This workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the new guidance and detail what facilities need to do to be compliant. Don’t miss out on this critical information!
