As reported in last week’s edition of The Source, in October, billers will need to include two items for nursing facility care on their monthly claims, reflecting two different rates for the month of October. LeadingAge Ohio has been in close communication with the Department of Medicaid, which is due to release the new rates at any time. When the new rates are posted, LeadingAge Ohio will send an e-blast to all nursing facility and hospice members, alerting them to the change.
