Most patients in hospice care experience dyspnea at some point in their disease progression. Hospice clinicians must understand the principles of dyspnea management including common underlying causes, as well as pharmacological and non-pharm interventions to minimize patient distress at end of life. This session focuses on dyspnea in patients with pulmonary disease, fluid overload, anxiety, and pain.
