This week, Anne Shelley, Director of Home Health and Hospice Regulatory Relations, announced that she would be joining Hospice of Northwest Ohio as their new Vice President of Quality and Compliance. “I miss working as a hospice provider,” said Shelley, explaining the transition, “I believe that being back in the provider space will help me better serve LeadingAge Ohio’s hospice members, in particular.” Shelley will stay on with LeadingAge Ohio in her current position, but on a part time basis, focused on answering questions and inquiries of hospice and home care members.
Shelley joined the Midwest Care Alliance in 2011 and has held various roles at both Midwest Care Alliance and later LeadingAge Ohio, including serving as interim President and CEO leading up to the merger of the two associations. Prior to joining the association, she held clinical and leadership roles within Ohio hospice programs, including Universal Home Health & Hospice, Hospice of North Central Ohio and Memorial Home Health and Hospice. Members have come to trust her quick response and encyclopedic knowledge of operations, billing, and regulations. “We are so grateful that Anne will continue to share her deep knowledge -- particularly as a ‘911’ resource our members depend on”, said Kathryn Brod, President/CEO, LeadingAge Ohio. “Most importantly, we don’t have to say good-bye!”
