Join LeadingAge Ohio today at 11:30AM for the next All-Member Call, which will focus on the role of nurse aides and important changes to the rules governing Ohio’s nurse aide training (NATCEP) programs. Home health, hospices and nursing facilities all rely on state-tested nurse aides, but Ohio’s nurse aide training programs are struggling to keep pace with the need for STNAs, particularly as the temporary nurse aide (TNA) waiver comes to a close. On the webinar, LeadingAge Ohio staff will highlight recent changes to Ohio’s nurse aide training rules, including flexibility to conduct the classroom portion of training online.
Members will also hear from Cinematic Health Education, a potential partner for high-quality online training which boasts high completion and pass rates, and the demonstrated ability to reduce turnover in the first 90 days of employment.
