Revalidate Your Provider Agreement or Lose Medicaid Certification
The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) has issued a reminder that May 24, 2016 will be the first deadline for some nursing facilities to revalidate their provider agreement.
LeadingAge Ohio suggests you check the MITS portal to see when your revalidation is due and if it is due by May 24th complete and submit the revalidation application ASAP. If you have not submitted a revalidation application by that date, your Medicaid certification may be auto-terminated.
At this point Ohio Department of Medicaid has only received approximately 200 nursing facility revalidation applications, far short of what it had expected.
