STAT: Survey Tips and Tactics
Discover how nursing homes are being cited with their annual surveys. The Long-Term Care Survey Process and regulatory language will be reviewed. Each month will delve into a specific survey topic. Common citation examples will be given with interactive discussion from members sharing their survey experiences. Obtain useful tips and tactics for the monthly highlighted topic. Resources and other reference material will be shared.
Each webinar is a separate virtual event. Registration is required for each.
June 14, 2023 Emergency Preparedness
Ohio has recently experienced significant disaster events requiring numerous communities to
evacuate their community including nursing homes, residential care facilities, and additional
provider types. Effective emergency preparedness plans were noted as the reason for
successful evacuations by the Ohio Department of Health. This session will cover best
practices identified through recent events. Regulatory requirements and resources will be
reviewed. ODH updates and current citation trends in Ohio will be discussed.

Your registration will be complete upon receipt of registration and payment. All registrants will receive information for the virtual meeting upon event registration. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact Corey Markham at (614) 545-9015.
Substitution and Cancellation Policy: Substitutions, in writing, are welcome at no additional cost. Cancellations received by two calendar weeks prior to event date will be fully refunded. Cancellations received between 7 and 13 days prior to the event date will be refunded minus a $10 processing fee. No refunds will be issued 6 or fewer days prior to the event date.
Continuing Education Information
1.0 clock hours will be awarded upon successful completion. Pending BELTSS approval.
Criteria for successful completion: Attendance at entire event and submission of completed evaluation form.

As stated in the Ohio Administrative Code Rule 4723-14-05, education that has been approved by a board or an agency that regulates a health care profession in Ohio or another jurisdiction is an acceptable option to meet nursing continuing education requirements.
