Executive Director, Genacross Lutheran Services Foundation
Genacross Lutheran Services has an immediate opening for an Executive Director of our Foundation. Reporting directly to the President/CEO and the Chair for the Board of Directors of the Foundation, this position is the chief development officer for the organization.
The Executive Director leads and strengthens the comprehensive fundraising program in support of the Foundation’s mission and goals with an emphasis focused on annual, major, and planned giving along with grant requests and fundraising events.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, this individual will strive to build greater understanding and support both for Genacross Lutheran Services and the Foundation’s mission, vision and goals in the region.
A Bachelor’s degree is required with an advanced degree preferred. A degree in business/marketing/public relations or communications and CFRE certification is a plus. A minimum of five years of increasingly responsible fundraising experience in a healthcare or social ministry setting with evidence of continue growth through education and participation in professional fundraising organizations is a must. This position requires strong administration experience with a proven track record of organizational accomplishments and a passion for social ministry.
