Menorah Manor is a premier not-for-profit senior healthcare organization located in St. Petersburg, Florida. Since opening in 1985, Menorah Manor has provided quality, compassionate services to seniors in a welcoming setting where independence is fostered, choices honored, and traditions preserved. As a community sponsored healthcare organization, Menorah Manor’s mission is to provide the best possible care in a warm, homelike Jewish environment. The community offers Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Adult Day Care, Specialized Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care and Rehab to people of all faiths.

Menorah Manor is seeking a full time Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide executive leadership for the organization. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for the overall operation of Menorah Manor. The CEO establishes short- and long-range goals, objectives, plans and policies subject to approval of the Board. The CEO actively participates in and contributes to the local community, positively representing Menorah Manor to professional organizations, governmental agencies, other health care institutions, and other external publics. 

The ideal candidate for this position will have approximately five to ten years of progressive management experience, including at least three years of high level administration in a health care or long term care organization, necessary in order to effectively direct Menorah Manor’s operations. (S)he will have advanced interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact in extremely delicate, confidential, sensitive and/or complex situations. The successful candidate will be able to develop and articulate a vision and successfully lead a team through the implementation of a strategic plan for success within the context of a highly regulated and complex healthcare environment and the changing demands of aging consumers. A high level of personal energy and passion for seniors is paramount. Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business administration or health-related field) and State of Florida Nursing Home Administrator’s license required. Master’s degree a plus.
