ODM to Host Provider Input Sessions on MyCare Conversion

As reported in The Source two weeks ago, the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) has officially begun work on the procurement of the Next Generation of MyCare Ohio. Beginning in January of 2026, the selected special needs plans will begin covering the full Medicare and Medicaid benefits for those who qualify in the current 29 demonstration counties, with statewide expansion as expeditiously as possible thereafter.

ODM is conducting a series of virtual meetings with provider stakeholders over the coming months. In these meetings, we expect to hear your experiences navigating the current Financial Alignment Initiative demonstration and other Fully Integrated Dual-Eligible Special Needs Plan (FIDE SNP) models. The first session is a statewide virtual kick-off to provide an overview of the MyCare Ohio program and approach to these sessions.
