Controlling Board Approves Additional Funding; Nursing Facility Mandamus Payments Begin Oct. 2
Nursing facilities will receive the first round of QIP back payments beginning October 2 following approval of additional funding authority by the Ohio Controlling Board.
Nursing facilities should have received a communication from ODM dated Sept. 29 regarding these payments. The notice, sent to your organization’s PNM Administrator, provides important information about the payment timeline and how facilities can access their individual payment amounts via the dashboard.
At its Sept. 28 meeting, the Ohio Controlling Board approved $65 million in additional appropriation authority, including $20 million in state funding and $45 million in federal funding, for ODM to fully address and finalize outstanding nursing facility payments. Members may also review the Ohio Controlling Board request for additional information.
